Garbage Pickup
NOTICE REGARDING GARBAGE PICKUP
The Seymour Town Board has signed a contract with Harter’s Lakeside Disposal for curbside garbage pickup effective January 1st , 2027. ALL Seymour residents will be receiving this service. There is no option to opt out of this service. The cost of the service is added to the tax bill starting with the 2028 tax bill.
The garbage carts delivery starts December 1st ,2026 so that all carts can be delivered by January 1st, 2027. If you currently have Harter’s contracted, your current garbage cart is to be used. If you have Deyo Disposal contracted, the garbage cart is to be picked up some time in April or May. More information to come directly from them when the pickup of the cart is to take place.
When the carts from Harter’s Lakeside Disposal are dropped off, attached to the handle is going to be an informational packet. Garbage pickup is every Tuesday. If you still have questions please contact the clerk, Darlene Schult at 920-676-3787.
