If you find a pet that does not have a tag on it, please notify the Town Constable, Julie VandenHeuvel.  She will do her best to reunite the lost pet with its owner.  As the last resort if the owner can not be located it is then taken to the Fox Valley Human Society.  The surrendering of an animal to the shelter does cost the taxpayers $92 per animal plus vet cost if needed.  By using the Town Constable as your first resource hopefully the owner is found and helps reduce the additional cost.  So, if your pet goes missing feel free to contact the Constable as she receives information it may be your pet that she found.
